Back in the day strops were not as large and fancy as today, mostly because 'the world was still small' and one had to make use of what was available. This type od strop is actually quite nice! It is fairly compact in size, ajustable and offers two sides that could be utilized, normally one side for paste and the other as is on clean leather.
We fitted this one with new leather and you can break it in any way you see fit.
Size 315 mm x 40 mm inclusive of the wooden handle, the stropping surface is approximately 190 x 40 mm.
The total weight of the strop is 150 grams.
