This Witte & Co razor is in good original condition and ready to shave. Witte & Co Solingen-Höhscheid was a smallish maker who made razors from 1922, much more can not be found on the maker and their products, I can only find a few in the wild, most of them in a pretty sad state, so this be quite a collectable blade if that is your thing. As a working tool it is ready to go, it has a medium amount of spine wear and sharpened up easily without tape, the bevel is nice and even and sharpens the same. The scales are pretty tight and feels pretty 'new' The steel has a few marks on it, but nothing that will prevent service for the next 100 years, or that distracts too much from its appearance. It has a white wedge fitted to the black celluloid scales, quite commonly used at the time. The blade has a square point,  has a working edge of 70mm long and at width of 6/8 ths and has a half hollow grind.

*Vintage razors are priced according to model and availability, time spent cleaning and reconditioning and time/level of honing. Please enquire if you need additional work done to this razor prior to purchase. All straight razors will require a stropping on a leather strop before every use. Pics are unedited (detail) and provide a true image of the condition of the razor.
