Out of a wide variety of blades i have tried, this one is definitely one of the best. Smooth shave from its initial use with good edge retention. Great value
On the second blade of the variety box, blows the Bic blades out of the water and all the way to Swaziland. Very nice shave, only needed two passes, one with and the second against and I was ready to go. On the against the grain shaves, I applied a bit too much pressure and had quite a few cuts as a result. Will use a lighter hand moving forward. Very pleased, the de facto option for budget and performance.
I was interested in trying these out, as the other Gillette blades (Nacet, Silver Blue etc.) seem quite popular overseas. Was left disappointed with these though. Needed more passes compared to other blades I've tried so they weren't particularly sharp. They weren't particularly smooth across the skin either.
