Trevor Woolfson is a local tradesman working from his workshop in Sebenza, Gauteng. He is a full time razor manufacturer and custom car builder and it is easy to see why he has chosen this career path. His razors are all unique, with some of them sporting exceptional coolness on the spine and tang, his unique style offers premium class razors in various price classes depending on the finishing and amount of work involved in producing them.
Apart from supplying us with a few of his creations he will also take up commissions, if you have something special in mind feel free to contact us/him to create a stubble slashing blade that matches the theme you are after.
Each of his razors are shipped in a stainless tube and leather pouch, so be sure that your razor will reach in you in good state, even if the courier bakkie is blown up by a landmine on its the way to your abode!
a Nice chunk of steel for someone with huge hands and banana fingers, this razor has an overall length of over 200 mm, the tang being extra long and very comfy for big-ass hands. This is not a razor for a refined Chardonnay vintner, but much rather one for the boer in khakis who can load a pregnant rhino cow onto his Cruiser single-handedly to enable her a safe birth in his boma. The razor weighs 110 grams and has scales in wood and carbon fibre, nicely finished off with carbon fibre inlays on the inside of the scales. The finish on the spine and tang of the blade is nice and rugged and contrasts beautifully with the shiny mirror finish on the grind of the RWL 34 Damasteel. The cutting edge is around 72 mm long, and the blade height is between 30 and 32 mm (isn't it about time we stop measuring the grind/blade in inches!?)
