Adjustable and affordable don't normally feature in the same sentence when talking razors but there is one razor that ticks both the boxes and also adds German engineering to the offering; the Merkur Futur. The Futur’s range of adjustment is divided into six increments of blade angle. Setting 1 is the mildest with the least exposure of the blade while setting 6 provides a shave that is aggressive enough to remove half of Chewbacca's body hair in one swoop. Settings are changed by simply twisting the handle to the desired setting. The blades are changed out by simply clipping off the cap, loading the blade into it and snapping it back on, a very quick and easy operation. The razor is a bit over 12 cm and a real hefty machine at 125 grams, a big plus in our opinion.
