Beast mode. There is no refinement here, the Oryx horn has been smoothed out for the better part, but remains with a section of crust that will become the place called home to which your thumb will find its way with every use. The 28 mm knot is somewhat of a 'speciality' we had made for testing, and it works great, this thing holds water like a 5000l Jojo tank and is able to create massive lathers if that is your thing. We will be getting some knots in this mix of badger & boar in the near future, they are great performers while still offering bang for your buck. They have sturdy bristles with solid backbone which means you get a wide splay without collapse, this in turn results in covering a surface area almost as large as the hunting grounds of a polar bear!
This is a standing brush, but will fit on a stand with wider forks if you mount it on its collar. This brush weighs 128 grams, has a total length of 122 mm. The loft is set at 68 mm. The average diameter at the widest section of the brush is about 42 mm.
