Our new shaving gel is an addition to our existing offerings that has the intention of offering an entire range of products in your favorite fragrance profile. Most shaving gels we have tried has a funny feel to it when you dilute it with water or wash it from your face, it works perfectly fine during the shave, but it is as if it does the opposite of lubricating your skin when nearing the end of your shave and offers less or little lubrication, some even feel downright sticky, this had me wondering what really happens right there on the surface where blade meets skin, is it as good as it can get or can we produce a gel that is better than most?
When we formulated this gel we wanted to give it something of a soapy feel with better residual slip at the end of the shave, we feel most gels are only good for minimal passes as the slip retention of the gel in smaller amounts on the skin is not as good a shaving soap. Soap is still the boss, but we figured we can also make a better gel, and here you have our first stab at it, we are keen to receive your feedback over time.
Of all the gels we have tried, this one remains slippery on your skin the longest, and it also washes off your skin more gently than the ones we have tried. It also has 'fragrance personality'! Gone are the days of the generic shave gel offered in one poofy smelling fragrance, you got choices now!
It works just like other non-lathering products; wet and soften your beard as required, squirt a few pumps (three or four seems to work for my face) apply by massaging into the skin, shave and rinse. The products works best with a slightly wet/damp skin, but not too much water as it may dilute the gel too much. When greater amounts of gel is used it will form a thin, white soapy lather. It is quite easy to find what works best for you, but depending on your budget you may want the product to last a long time, so don't be scared to try in various ways to see what works best for you. Simply wetting your face during buffing is also quite effective, so when you get it right, you need not add an extra pump or two when eliminating those last few whiskers.
This gel is also a great product for travellers, hasty shavers and new entrants to the safety razor market, we'd like to think many new customers will start on the gel and after a while only use that when travelling or in a hurry, but when at home or more relaxed they may select the specific fragrance matched shaving soap for an even greater experience.

We are using the containers of a product that is being discontinued, so be aware the ingredients listed on the can is incorrect, and the real ones are listed below. We are not sure about the route we will take with future packaging, the aluminium bottles are quite easy to refill, but fairly expensive, so if the gels are popular we may keep it in the current format, but could add a 500 ml non labled bottle at significantly cheaper rates. This base is being produced for us in a factory, and includes less natural ingredients than the products we manufacture on site. It also contains no animal products, something that we do not offer a lot of, and there are quite a few customeres who have asked us to introduce more such products.
Ingredients; Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Butylene Glycol, Lauryl Betaine, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Triethanolamine, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin. Essential oils and/or fragrance oils.
