Resin crete is a great medium for bowls, it is smooth, durable, tough, and has superb heat retention, it is microwave safe and can take a shot of boiling water without burning your fingers to bits. The medium also offers great swirling and the ability to create different apperances and effects.
This double bowl set can be used in many ways, the big bowl can be uses as a lathering bowl, or you can deposit your puck of soap in there and lather right on top of it, the lid enables your soap to stay 'clean and bugfree', and is also great for heat retention if used as a lathering bowl.
The small bowl is perfect for the soaking of your brush, or your espresso in the bush made on that smouldering Hardekool stump. because the set fits into one another they are even more versatile, you can add a bit of boiling water into the bottom of the large bowl and place the smaller bowl with the brush into that to keep your lather nice and fuzzy, you can even fill the smaller bowl with boiling water and centre that into your large bowl with lather for even more heat, slap the lid on and you pass 2 and 3 will be just as comfy.
The bowl measures 108 mm across the rim, around 95 on the base and is 78 mm high, the little mug is around 80 mm wide up top, by 68 mm on the base and stands 60 mm high. The bowls & lids weighs 400 to 500 grams on the big boy, and 200 to 300 grams on the youngster.
The ideal brush for this set is a taller brush so keep an eye on our website as we will be making some specically for the deeper bowls. a Set will have similar colour and swirling as it is poured from the same mixtures.
