This brush from a supplier in India. All plastic. Very scratchy. Cheap. If ever there was a 'disposable shaving brush' this would be it, but ironically so it will probably outlast any brush with natural bristles. We will get a few of these every now and again for the 'poorest of the poor' (that includes me) and I may even put a better knot in some of these when I have some idle time as the handle is very robust and light.
The shape of the handle, the vertical channels on the side and the kerb on the base of the brush gives it quite good grip also. One tends to frown on certain products, but if one is realistic about it, there is certainly a spot in many a washroom or suitcase...
Shipping and taxes amounted to twice the cost of the item itself!
The brush weighs 35 grams, stands just 94 mm tall and has a loft of 52 mm. It is fitted with a 20 mm nylon knot, the bristles are coarse and square cut, as opposed to fine and pointed of 'modern day' synthetics.
