This Omega brush handle is made from Ovankol wood, also know as 'Mozambique' and 'Shedua', the timber originates from the central western tropical regions of Africa, so it is great to have a bit of 'representation from our continent' in this Italian product. The knot is also quite cool as it is Omega's well know boar bristle, but it has been dressed up as a 'Badger'. It will need a break-in period, so be sure to use it as often as possible, and enjoy the evolution from adament young pig to comfortable old creature
This brush has a 24 mm boar knot tinted in the style of most Silvertip brushes! The brush has a handle diameter of 20 mm around the waist, a handle height of 60 mm, and a loft of 54 mm, it is quite a small brush considering its style and knot diameter.
