The GT series of brushes from Omega were designed to celebrate some legendary automobiles, and I must say they did not stop at any specific aspect of the industry. This brush celebrates the maker Lancia, the rivalry between Audi and Lancia in the 80's was a thrilling chapter in the Group B class. Audi's introduction of the Quattro all-wheel-drive system revolutionized the sport, but Lancia, with its rich rallying heritage and innovative approach, provided fierce competition. The clash between these two marques wasn't just a battle on the tracks; it was a collision of engineering philosophies and a catalyst for innovation in the automotive world. Although Audi dominated with its 4x4 wheel drive, Lancia put up a huge fight by focusing on lightweight, nimble two-wheel-drive cars, such as the 037, and later, the Delta S4, often pushing the boundaries of engine performance and aerodynamics. Here is a great video on what went down in this great era.

The multi coloured resin handle is poured in the style of the car, the blues, red and white colours are unmistakable Lancia, a legendary David vs Goliath tale.

The 'Elite synthetic knot' is the latest technological advancement in the Omega synthetic fiber brushes range. The improved characteristics, such as the larger knot diameter, the special corrugations and the very fine tips makes this brush better performing and more pleasant to use. The knot, considerably larger than standard synthetic ones, develops a much more voluminous, creamy lather, making for a deeper, and more agreeable mechanical action on the skin.

This brush is nice and compact and creates the impression of a real powerhouse making for a good match of the 'legendary cars' theme, it has a 29 mm 'Elite' knot, weighs 94 grams, has a handle length of 54 mm and a loft height of 52 mm.
