The GT series of brushes from Omega were designed to celebrate some legendary automobiles, and I must say they did not stop at any specific aspect of the industry. In the annals of automotive history, certain vehicles stand apart, transcending their metal, rubber, and paint to become legends. One such legend is the Shelby Cobra, a marvel of engineering and a symbol of an era when passion and innovation coalesced to redefine speed. The AC Cobra was another legend well picked by the folks at Omega, this is a sportster that was built by the British, but had an American V8 in it, and it was another Shelby creation. The car had a rich history, and has influenced the automobile trade in many ways. Personally I recalled admiring one owned by Gary 'Snake' Edwards, at the time the owner of motorcycle repair shop 'Viper' in Springs on the East Rand, as a 'biker' I had little interest in cars, but the Cobra capitivated me with its raw, free spirited personality.

The 'Elite synthetic knot' is the latest technological advancement in the Omega synthetic fiber brushes range. The improved characteristics, such as the larger knot diameter, the special corrugations and the very fine tips makes this brush better performing and more pleasant to use. The knot, considerably larger than standard synthetic ones, develops a much more voluminous, creamy lather, making for a deeper, and more agreeable mechanical action on the skin.

This brush is nice and compact and creates the impression of a real powerhouse making for a good match of the 'legendary cars' theme, it has a 29 mm 'Elite' knot, weighs 94 grams, has a handle length of 54 mm and a loft height of 52 mm.
