The Pearl Flexi is the second adjustable razor from Pearl razors in India, the early releases of the solid bar version sorted out a few niggles they had with the alighnment of the guard parralel to the cap. We had a few of these, and even though we did spot this, it did not affect the shave performance much at all. All the new versions are smooth and precise, and would get the approval of anyone with a good eye for a solid assembly, the finish seems to be better also, the coating appears to be a finer compound applied under more sterile conditions, this is an observation based purely on us handling a few of the razors since its release.
As expected the general concensus seems to be that the OC is a bit more aggresive than the solid bar razor, the chunky weight and form, coupled with those 4x4 tyre tracks on the handle makes this quite a desireable razor indeed, offer it at a low price compared to most other adjustables and the urge to drop some cash on it evolves from an inkling to an urge, finally topping at an obsession! Pearl have put some extra effort into their coating system, and also into quality control and the testing of parts, overall a step in the right direction in the quest to produce razors that can be passed on to next generations. We love the chunky vibe and feel of this razor, the sturdy set of teeth gives it the style, stance and apperance of a Staffy ready to go to town on intrusive growth!

We love the '4x4 thread knurling' on this one, it has so much grip, and unlike some other razors, their 'traction' will never leave you stranded in the 'Doodsakker'
