Maxximo blades are distributed by Posh International based in Midrand, the blade has Stainless steel as base metal which is platinum coated, that would put it pretty much next to the Supermax green in terms of my expectancy when it comes to performance. I tried these two years ago, but did not have enough time to give them a fair go with a few razors, so I figured I'll list them and see if they can find favour amongst you fine folks.

Blades are cheaper than chips, so you got nothing to loose by trying our entire range to find your favorite, it's quite a kicker if you find a better or cheaper blade when you have been shaving for 40 years, so make the effort and try all the brands and new ones making their appearance in the market space. With your support the good ones will stay and the bad ones will fade away. Repeat with new razors, sometimes you will be amazed how good a 'bad' blade feels in a different razor, or how average a 'good' blade may come across!
