The DE 24 was added to our range of razors and it fills a gap in our offerings, this razor is 'long and light'. Long handled razors are normally average to quite heavy in weight as the amount of metal used is more than used for manufacturing it's brothers and sisters, some like the 23c are still fairly light as they have quite a small diameter on the handle, but most have weighty brass handles. This razor has an aluminium handle with a Zamac alloy baseplate and cap.
This is one of the widest heads we have come across, and it is easy to 'operate' a great feature if you have large hands, at the same time it is a great 'starter razor' for the ladies looking for something at the cheaper end of the scale.
The blade alighment and seating looks great, the corners of the blade is nicely tucked away so it should be quite hard to nick yourself with this one.
It is quite a pretty razor over and above features we have mentioned, the makers have added some profiled edges on the ends of the cap, giving it a modern look, the matte chrome cap seems to be polished, adding to the cool looks. The aluminium handle has a courser matte finish, similar to what one would find on most other 'matte chrome' razors, this finish adds some grip that is complemented by diamond knurling, some rings on the handle and also a tapered, narrower profile in the middle.
The razor weighs 60 grams, which is quite light for a this leggy lass that is 166 mm tall!
