Not really a 'Rat' but the tang has been modified by one of the previous owners, so not quite a original vintage razor. It has very faint etching; 'The razor that fits your face' on the blade, the maker is not easily identifyable, but it is a USA made blade with a 15-A-250 stamp on the tail, and appears to be a ROBESON SHUREDGE STRAIGHT RAZOR. This razor weighs 35 grams and has a spine thickness of 4.4 mm, blade height of 17 mm or 5/8ths that delivers a bevel angle of 15 degrees, the bevel and spine is not perfect, but is easy to maintain using one layer of tape on the spine. The razor has a half hollow grind, the scales are a bit warped inward on both sides near the centre, but it still folds and seats nicely. It delivered a real nice shave, so a great razor for the 'bloke-on-a-budget'
