This blade is manufactured by the P&G giant in India, it is a favorite blade of many, and regarded as a very 'lekka' blade. Is it a hit or miss? That is up to you to decide, but as we always say, you do not want to shave for 30 years with the 'wrong blade' only to discover a boat load of better options when you eventually buy something else. Blades are cheap to cycle through, so try them all and make up a list of favorites.

The fight between blade and stubble is a never ending one, some think it is 'all show' but you can bet your pair of shiny black shoes there is lots of sense in finding the one that is perfect for you.

Good shave on the first 3 days.

The Gilette 7 o'clock gives a decent shave on the first 3 days, but goes blunt after that. I use an adjustable razor on 2 which gives a nice close shave initially. I would recommend using these blades for 3 days or less.

Expected a bit more

Blades are really a subjective component of the save routine. So a little background first to give a bit perspective. I use a Rockwell 6c on plate 6. I have sensitive skin and get ingrown hair from a haircut!! I can only do a two pass shave ( face with and across grain and neck 2x with grain). I mainly use bundubeard tallow soaps. My beard is not soft but not really hard, an average type and I shave every 2nd or 3rd day.

This blade is the polar opposite from the black version. It doesn’t feel as smooth as the black version or even other lower priced blades. There is also a lack of sharpness. Both of these issues are not really an issue if the shave is good but by the 3rd shave irritation started showing up. It just does not seem durable. If the blade was just a tad more durable, it would have been a fine blade for price. (R25 for 10 blades!). I believe there are blades that are very similar in price that are just a bit more durable and feels a bit smoother.
