Another mystery razor, it says 'H&S' and has a 'B' below that encircled by a heart shape on the tang, the other side has a 'Germany' stamp on it. It has some bad-ass bird on the blade that is engraved pretty deep, so this creature is there to stay! It has some pretty deep marks on the front side of the spine, so I would not go full restore on this. It looks cool enough to be used as is for the rest of your life antways! The scales, pinning and wedge looks original, making this a cool package to own and use in its current state. I cannot recall the shave itself, but it is on my desk so it passed the test of a comfortable shave without any stretching of the skin.
This razor weighs 46 grams and has a spine thickness of 4 mm, blade height of 18 mm, or just over 11/16ths that delivers a bevel angle of 12.7 degrees. The blade is in good nick with no spine wear, there are only a few marks and spots here and there, but generally the polished blade looks good. The bevel is nice and clean suggestion a great many more shaves and easy maintanance.
The razor strops very easily on a paddle and hanging strop as the scales are still nice and tight with very little deformation on account of age.
