This Omega brush handle is made from Ash wood, now, although 'Ashwood' is s generic description used for a lot of species, this looks like 'Black Ash' harvested in the Northeastern United States and Eastern Canada. The knot is a 'Mixed badger' from the Omega stable, and a great item for someone with a tight budget looking for a well know brand of brush that has genuine Badger hair.
