The DE 30 range comprehends a few razors that have a similar apperance offered in various grades of materials, types of opening mechanisms and individual features. We chose this range of razors for our shop as they are not widely available, are affordable and have fantastic finishing in terms of what you pay for. We also love the stylish look of these razors, and the workmanship on them is pretty impressive, they are a great fit for our reaching the big Three-O in our DE razor range, and we will be adding a few more options to this model every now and again, and we should soon enough have the range go up to DE 30.6 Bang! Should we make the last one 30-06?
The DE 30.1 is a brass and alloy razor in a super shiny white chrome finish. This razor has a solid bar on the one side, and an open comb on the other, most guys claim a closer shave from an open comb, but I prefer the solid bar for the closer shave, and will start of a shave with the open comb when I have stubble that is a few days old, or for more sensitive skin. Either way, you can enjoy this functionality as you see fit, and the best way to learn this is to use the razor in various ways and find what works best for you.
The razor weighs 84 grams, and stands 104 mm tall and assembles from three pieces. Apart from great looks, classic styling and a great price, this razor has a head that is flatter than most, making it a versaltile tool for getting in under the nose. The design is neat and snug with great fit-ups and parts that sit true and flush presenting a great razor. The cap has a long thread which we love, and the blade mounts true, tight and perfectly alligned. The razor stands up by itself, comes with a silicone washer to protect it, and is well worth the charge we have put to it, display it proudly!
This range is the perfect collection for the 'OCD person', or someone that simply like things to look neat and organized, when you have these in a line-up the resemblence will be striking. Maybe we should start our own boxed breakfast cereal and gooi these in with a 'collect them all' campain?
