The Tark Electric Razor was an electric single-edge safety razor invented by Saul Shaler and sold from 1932 to around 1940 in Long Island City, New York. The Tark Electric Razor Co. sold the razor until the sales corporation was dissolved around 1940. The corporation for the Tark razor was most likely dissolved in 1938.
This razor is one for the collector, one could shave with it, but it is going to be quite a mission, you'd have to tap into a 110 volt power source, find a funny looking female plug, and sharpen the existing blade as new blades are not available for this jobby.
I bought this as a working/tested razor, but have never tried firing her up. Here is a video of Mr Sinatra using this model razor, it worked!
