The 1920's Diamond Razor Company made straight razors using American steel manufactured in Boston, Massachusetts, this razor is in original condition and is about a century old. The stamping on the blade is hardly noticable any longer, just enough for us to identify the makers. The razor has a bit of hone wear on the spine, but on this razor it actually looks quite good. The razor has been cleaned and rust removed, and shined up a tad.
The razor's grind is half hollow with a cutting edge measuring 68 mm in length and a blade width of 5/8 's The razor has a square point that is not too agressive, the razor shaves great, looks pretty good and closes without touching sides. A great middle of the road razor made from US steel at a steal! The razor is shave ready.
*Vintage razors are priced according to model and availability, time spent cleaning and reconditioning and time/level of honing. Please enquire if you need additional work done to this razor prior to purchase. All straight razors will require a stropping on a leather strop before every use. Pics are unedited (detail) and provide a true image of the condition of the razor.
