Watermelons by rail was an idea that sprung up in conversation; Our distributer in the US, Philip Sharpe from www.Sharpeshaver.com based in Rush Springs, Oklahoma mentioned their watermelon festival in a conversation and before you know it we agreed to make a soap and few other items to test the waters. a Shaving soap, body soap and bath bomb was made, and all came out pretty good! We are definately going to do one more batch to darken the colour a bit, the shaving soap looks like the outer pink part of a watermelon, but we still want that deep exotic colour before we will consider calling it a day, so there is definately one more batch on the cards, after that, we'll see what happens. The ladies seem to dig this a lot, but so do I, it's one of those super fun soaps.
The battle for best and biggest in Watermelons seems to be a fun affair, we hope to visit their festivals sometime in future and compare 'waatLEMOENE with waatLEMOENE'

This base is dense and thick when you get it just right, it is one of the few bases with which you can actually feel the weight of the ball of suds when you move it fom hand to hand, it is such a solid lather I am convinced it will be fossilzed when left in your bowl for the next 30 trillion years!
Ingredients of this shaving soap: Mutton tallow, H20, Sodium Hydroxide, Potassium Hydroxide, Stearic Acid, Castor oil, Kalahari Melon oil, Virgin cold pressed Coconut oil off the tree, fragrance oils and essential oils.
The contents of the soft base is around 180 grams when poured, and around 220 grams in the container.
